Read Together

A reading club celebrating Black women’s stories.
A ribbon composed of three vertical sections colored green, white, and red hangs from a card labeled 'Steward' with 'Women's Service Library' written at the top. The card is secured with a gold safety pin.

Our Story

At caféfuné, we gather Black women to share stories, ideas, and laughter through books that resonate deeply.
A woman with long black hair and glasses is sitting at a wooden table, deeply engaged in reading a book. The room appears to be a study or library with papers pinned on a board in the background.
Four young women are seated on a curved bench, facing away from the camera. They appear to be engaged in quiet activities such as reading or looking at something in their laps. Each is wearing a distinctly colored outfit, providing a diverse palette of colors. The background features a fence and greenery.
A group of people, mostly women, sit closely together in a cozy room, smiling warmly. The room is filled with natural light and decorated with plants and flowers. On the table in front of them is a basket, a cup, and some notebooks.
